I didnt anticipate the season 2 premier as much as my friends did. Seeing as how in Game of Thrones, the intro chapter was the opening scene, I was not excited for what I thought was going to be the opening scene fore season 2. I wasnt excited to meet Melisandre and that scene with her damn necklace made me want to throw up.
Watching Robb listen to Theon was hard to watch as well. I admit, I love pledging to house Greyjoy for the sole purpose that their culture is so rich and in tune with the water that surrounds them, but Theon is not the strongest Greyjoy out there. And he cannot be trusted. The water didnt bring him back to life, it spit him out!
My best friend from grade school got this saying stuck in my head. Now every time someone has something innocent and naive to say, I want to reply with “My sweet summer child”. I’m pretty sure that’s a common problem amongst most asoiaf fans.
